  • About this Coffee: Dinkalem Ademe’s washing station serves about 2,500 smallholders producers from the surrounding zone of Keffa in the Wush Wush village and sits on 2 hectares. The smallholder producers in this region are also known as “garden farmers”. The majority of them are producing and harvesting coffee from areas around their homes, hence the landrace varieties. These varieties grow in the wild in the forests of Ethiopia. It is through the lovely folks of Catalyst Trade that we were to source this coffee. Catalyst Trade is an Ethiopian and American founded importer with the focus of sustainability, excellence, and innovation. The cup profile is jam-packed with fruit. Our thought was that using one descriptor that encompassed many fruit elements seemed like the best fit.
