  • About this Coffee: La Julianita farm is owned by José Saúl López, who has been cultivating coffee for 12 years in the department of Nariño. Last year, his coffee ranked among the top ten in La Mejor Taza de Nariño (The Best Cup of Nariño) competition. This lot underwent a multi-step washed process. Beginning with density sorting to separate the ripe coffee cherries from unripe ones. Subsequently, the ripe cherries were fermented in airtight plastic bags for three days, with the bags being moved daily to ensure consistent fermentation. After this phase, the cherries were pulped and transferred to a tank, where some of the dregs from the first fermentation were added to supplement the second stage of fermentation. This stage lasted four days, with daily stirring. Finally, the coffee was washed once and sun-dried on a patio for approximately 12 days.
