  • About this Coffee: The farm La Montaña got its name from the mountainous area surrounding the Aldea El Coyegual. This village is located in the western highlands of Guatemala in the region of Huehuetenango. Rudy López had a limited amount of resources upon starting his farm. He began by planting coffee in small sections of his farm. He has been able to grow his production and he now produces an average of 3,000 kg of coffee per year. Rudy has been able to improve the quality of his coffee by putting good farm practices in place such as, selecting ripe cherries and planning throughout the growing and harvest cycle. The cup is delightfully chocolatey, has a tangy zesty acidity, and has a sweetness that resembles a light caramel.
