  • About this Coffee:

Tanzania is the fourth largest producer of coffee in Africa. Arabica coffee is mainly produced in the Southern Highlands of the country and it’s characterized by its fruity qualities.

Peaberries are the result of a natural mutation that occurs in about 5% of all coffee cherries. While most cherries contain two seeds, a peaberry forms when only one seed develops, making the bean smaller and rounder in shape. This mutation isn’t visible from the outside of the cherry and is typically identified and separated during dry milling, resulting in a blend of peaberries from multiple lots.
